Wimbledon continues on Wednesday as the second round gets underway - while some players are still to start their first round matches.

Tuesday saw the first rain delays of this year's tournament, although the All England Club is hopeful despite overcast conditions there will be no huge impact on the Order of Play on Day 3.

Frances Tiafoe is back in action, after the day one victory that saw him come from two sets down for the first time in his career, and he faces a tough test against Croatia's Borna Coric.

The highest seeded American man in the draw is 12th seed Tommy Paul. He faces Finland's world no.147 Otto Virtanen as he looks to stay on track to end the 24-year US wait for a male champion.

In the women's draw, Coco Gauff, Madison Keys and Sloane Stephens will look to book a spot in the last 32, and with Grand Slam pedigree they will all have hopes of going deep into the second week.

11th seed Danielle Collins will hope for a short outing, she finishes off her first round match against Clara Tauson, and leads 6-4 4-1.

Game of the Day

There's a blockbuster on Centre Court for 19th seed Emma Navarro, who is enjoying the most consistent season of her career.

She will face four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka, who is playing in her third major since returning to the tour after the birth of her first child.

Navarro is making just her second appearance at Wimbledon, but after winning her first WTA title in January her consistency has seen her rise up to 17th in the world.

Osaka needs no introduction. The 26-year-old has two Australian Open titles, and two US Opens under her belt, but this is only her fourth Wimbledon - first since 2019 - and she has never been past the third round.

Who else is in action

Paul won his first grass court ATP tournament when he won at Queens just a couple of weeks ago while a win against Virtanen will put him into the third round for a third year in succession.

In the women's draw, second seed Gauff faces Anca Todoni and 12th seed Keys - a quarter-finalist at Wimbledon last year - plays China's Yafan Wang.
