The Australian Open men's singles final will take place this weekend and Jannik Sinner is coming up against Alexander Zverev.

Last year's champion Sinner, booked his place in the showpiece clash after beating American Ben Shelton in straight sets.

The Italian is looking to win this tournament again to claim the third Grand Slam title of his impressive career so far.

However, to claim the title again, he has to overcome Zverev.

His opponent progressed past Novak Djokovic who was booed by some fans after retiring from the semi-final through injury.

Sinner vs Zverev: What has been said?

Speaking on court after reaching the final again by beating Shelton, Sinner said: "It was a very tough first set but a very crucial one.

"I felt like he wasn't serving at his best today, the percentage wasn't where he wanted it to be.

"I think we both actually returned better than we served.

"The first set is always very important, it gives you a lot of confidence and there was a lot of tension for both of us.
