Andy Murray will return to Wimbledon this summer but only to compete in the doubles, meaning British fans will have to look elsewhere for a homegrown champion.

In the men’s draw, British hopes were on current world number 31 Kyle Edmund (above) but he fell out of the tournament in round 2 after being beaten in five sets by Spain’s Fernando Verdasco.
The 24-year-old reached the third round last summer in his best performance at the All England Club.
