talkSPORT Spoof: Take a look at Stuart Pearce’s letter to David Beckham asking him to play at the Olympics

Great Britain Olympic football team boss Stuart Pearce is writing to the players he is considering selecting for London 2012 to ask them if they fancy playing at the Games. Seriously! It's difficult to imagine Fabio Capello getting his best pen and paper out to ask Darren Bent if he'd like to play at Euro 2012, so Pearce's trip to the Post Office will do little to dispel criticism that no one gives a monkeys about Olympic football.

Now a talkSPORT source has presented us with this letter* from Psycho, asking David Beckham to join what everyone will tediously be obliged to refer to as 'Team GB'.
