England Watch: Fabio’s Fab Five, starring Lampard, Lennon and Britton

Each week, talkSPORT takes a look at how the players fighting for a place on the plane to Poland and Ukraine are getting on, including established stars and emerging talent.
Leon Britton
Together with his Swansea team-mate Joe Allen, Britton's slick and neat passing was too much for Arsenal as the Welsh club stunned the Gunners with a 3-2 win, the first time they have beaten them since 1982. The London-born midfielder has been a key player this season for the promoted Swans and he has played his part in pushing the club into the top half of the Premier League table. England manager Fabio Capello was at the Liberty Stadium in Wales to see Britton and his team-mates record the win and will have been impressed by the diminutive midfielder.
Frank Lampard
Central midfielder Lampard scored his 11th goal of the season and Chelsea's winner against Sunderland in the Blues' 1-0 win on Saturday. He was quickest to react after Fernando Torres' effort rebounded off the bar and his goal helped put his side six points behind Tottenham, who occupy third place. Lampard, capped 90 times by England, is making it increasingly difficult for both club manager Andre Villas-Boas and Fabio Capello, his national manager, to leave him out.
Danny Welbeck
Man United's 22-year-old striker scored his fifth goal in 16 Premier League starts against Bolton on Saturday and looks a threat every time Sir Alex Ferguson picks him. Welbeck could have had more in the 3-0 win and even won a penalty, though Adam Bogdan saved Wayne Rooney's spot kick. He has three senior England caps and if he can keep taking his opportunities in front of goal and Spurs' Jermain Defoe is forced to sit on the bench, then maybe Welbeck can pip the Tottenham striker to a seat on the plane to Poland and Ukraine.
Aaron Lennon
Tottenham were unlucky not to go level on points with Premier League leaders Man City as Wolves held the club to a draw at White Hart Lane. Lennon was dangerous throughout the match and forced goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey into making crucial saves as Mick McCarthy's team held on to deny Spurs the win. Since the winger's return to league action against Everton last week, he has one goal in two games.
Ryan Shawcross
Alongside defensive partner Jonathan Woodgate, 24-year-old Shawcross, who has two England U-21 caps, kept a clean sheet at Anfield as Liverpool failed to penetrate the Stoke defence. Even when Reds manager Kenny Dalglish introduced Andy Carroll to the match, Shawcross' defending kept the home side's attack at bay and he has helped his side keep seven clean sheets so far, as well as chipping in with one goal, too.
