Sweden v France: French tormentor Kallstrom takes on rising star Debuchy

Sweden enter tonight's clash with France knowing it will be their last game of Euro 2012, so with pride at stake there'll be no man on the pitch looking for a French scalp more than Lyon midfielder Kim Kallstrom. France are no pushovers though, and in fullback Mathieu Debuchy they have a player capable of exploiting all of Sweden's defensive weaknesses to give them the win they need. talkSPORT has more...

Name: Mathieu Debuchy
Position: Right-back
Caps: 7
Club: Lille

The details: Lille man Mathieu Debuchy has made the most of Bacary Sagna's injury woes to solidify his place in France's starting 11. The fullback started his career as a deep-lying playmaker, making him one of the few right-backs around capable of picking out a killer pass. Debuchy also likes to run at players with the ball at his feet, something France have exploited well so far at Euro 2012 with Patrice Evra no longer the threat he used to be. Debuchy was brilliant against England in France's Group D opener, so expect him to shine against a tactically similar Sweden side.

Debuchy shows he can finish too with this clinical number against Iceland...

Name: Kim Kallstrom
Position: Midfielder
Caps: 94
Club: Lyon

The details: Swedish midfielder Kim Kallstrom is used to giving the French a hard-time, having played most of his career in Ligue 1. His nation's early exit from Euro 2012 will be bittersweet for the Lyon man, and there's no doubt he would have loved the game against France to be worth more than just pride. France need a result against Sweden if they want to top Group D, so Kallstrom might find there's plenty of space to exploit with his range of passing should Les Bleus go on the attack. And if the classy creator can persuade Zlatan Ibrahimovic to let him take a free-kick he has plenty of quality from a dead-ball situation too. After criticising Laurent Blanc in the press, it looks like Kallstrom wants to go out with a fight.

Video evidence:
Kallstrom curled this belter into the net against Holland last year. Will he have a chance to do the same against France?
