Name: Kevin Ray Mendoza Hansen
Date of birth: 29 September, 1994
Birthplace: Herning, Denmark

What's the latest?
Hansen is due to start his trial with Liverpool on Thursday, and will spend the weekend with the club ahead of a potential appearance for the reserves. Though he currently has a contract with Viborg that runs until 2014, it is believed that the fee required to release him would be relatively insignificant by Liverpool's standards.
Did you know?
1) Hansen is currently juggling football with learning a trade in carpentry and joinery, after joining Viborg's academy part-time two years ago. He has recently been promoted to the Viborg senior team, deputising for former Liverpool academy keeper Martin Hansen.
2) The young keeper's contract with Viborg was extended in 2012 until 2014, after Viborg back-up keeper Kristian Kirk's contract was cancelled.
3) Hansen has only made three appearances for Viborg's first team to date, the most recent of which came in November in a 0-0 draw against HB Koge.
4) The goalkeeper cites spending time observing Viborg's handball team as a way of improving his ability as a goalkeeper, and claims their training methods and taking part in practice sessions with the side have been particularly useful.
5) When asked in a recent interview what his dream as a footballer is, Hansen said he wants to go abroad, and "dreams of going to England and playing in the Premier League".
They say
“It's a trial, but first and foremost I just hope for a good experience. I don't mind if more comes from it, but I'm taking it all as it comes. I'm training on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The reserves have a match on Sunday, but they have said that we just have to see how it goes first.” Mendoza on his Liverpool trial
