Blue Square / Racing UK – Charity Tipping Competition – Week 9

After eight weeks of the Blue Square / Racing UK charity tipping competition Blue Square, represented by their PR manager Alan Alger, lead the way in the overall standings. A tied finish to week 8 lead to a nail-biting tiebreaker in the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket where the guest team represented by Talksport host and trainer Micky Quinn clawed a point back with his selection of Steele Tango finishing in front of Emirates Dream selected by Alger.

We now head to ‘week 9’ which will take in an evening All-Weather flat card from Kempton on Thursday 21st October and then move onto a jumping card from Ayr on Friday. The final day will take in the card at Aintree on Sunday. We are delighted to announce that the ‘Guest Tipster’ team will be represented by Quinn’s co-host on the Weekend Breakfast Show – Mark Saggers. He will be hoping to emulate the win of his fellow Talksport presenter and keep the charity of the Guest Team – Racing Welfare in the hunt for the £5000 prize. Blue Square are proud to be the official bookmaker of the Weekend Breakfast Show which can be found on 1053/1089am on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
