Warnock adds loan ranger Walker to ranks

QPR have signed Tottenham defender Kyle Walker on a one-month emergency loan.

The Championship leaders are looking to add competition to their squad and Walker could be in the side for Tuesday’s game at Ipswich.

Spurs spent £8m to bring both Walker and Kyle Naughton from Sheffield United last summer, but the 20-year-old has made just three senior appearances for the club.

The short-term loan deal could be extended if he impresses former manager Neil Warnock at Loftus Road.

Walker can play at both centre-back and right-back, and has been tipped to break into Tottenham's first-team by White Hart Lane boss Harry Redknapp.
