Trend Micro Stats desk – Player of the Week
Southampton striker Ricky Lambert took the award as this week's Trend Micro stats Player of the Week.
The 30-year-old has scored four goals already in his first season in the Premier League, and his double on Saturday helped the Saints pick up their first top-flight win of the campaign as they thrashed Aston Villa 4-1.
Lambert scored 89/100 in the Opta rankings, and his performance included two goals from two shots on target, and he also created two goalscoring chances for his team-mates.
