Graham Beecroft on Liverpool’s win at Udinese

Merseyside correspondent Graham Beecroft tells talkSPORT that Liverpool’s 1-0 win away at Udinese in the Europa League was a fine display.

Beecroft was impressed with the way Brendan Rodgers’ side defended and restricted the home side to just one serious effort on goal.

The victory means the Anfield outfit finished top of their group and will avoid having to play a team that finished third in their Champions League group.

Beecroft also told Extratime with Mike Graham that the game will provide a big boost for Jordan Henderson as he scored his first European goal for the club.
