Johnson: Torres isn’t convincing when the pressure is on

Evening Standard journalist Simon Johnson claims Chelsea star Fernando Torres needs to score more important goals.

The Blues hitman rounded off the 5-1 victory against Leeds United in the Capital One Cup, but has failed to convince in front of goal for the majority of the season.

That's in stark contrast to his goal statistics though, which has seen him score 13 goals in 29 appearances for club and country this season.

But Johnson, who covers Chelsea for the London Evening Standard, claims Torres rarely scores the goals that matter in matches.
