Ince: Ferdinand still has England future

Former Three Lions star, Paul Ince, believes Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand can come back into the international reckoning - following his withdrawl from Roy Hodgson's squad for the World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro.
He told talkSPORT: "I hope he comes back into the England squad as he’s a world class player. This year he’s been outstanding for Man United and he’s stated that he does want to play for England.
"Whether that’s viable with what’s gone on I don’t know. The fans are entitled their opinion, and the way it’s been dealt with by the FA, England and Rio, they are going to be unhappy.
"Rio has stuck to his guns, he’s got a programme to do and there should always be a place for someone of his ability."
