Brevett: Sunderland taking massive, massive gamble with Di Canio

Rufus Brevett joins Russell Hargreaves on Extra Time to preview Monday night’s Premier League clash between two of his former clubs, Fulham and QPR.

And Brevett gives his reaction to the appointment of Paolo Di Canio as Sunderland manager.

Brevett played alongside the fiery Italian at West Ham and he said: “I’m surprised by the news.

“Paolo Di Canio is a great guy and he has done wonders at Swindon. But it is a massive, massive gamble.”
