Types of Kentucky Derby racing bets
In horse racing, you don’t necessarily need to have the winning horse on your betting slip every time to win some money. While a win-only bet is, of course, very easy to understand, ‘each-way’ or ‘show’ bets are more likely to pay off as you’ll be covering against a greater number of eventualities.

Each way & show bets
‘Each way’ bets are essentially two bets in one - you bet on the horse to win outright, and for him or her to finish second.
