‘I don’t give a s***’ – Brock Lesnar played bumper cars using Dana White’s truck and almost killed himself in botched WWE WrestleMania match against Kurt Angle

Brock Lesnar is set to main event WrestleMania for the fifth time in a Champion vs Champion Winner Takes All match against Roman Reigns.
The Beast has been involved in some of the most historic matches at WWE's biggest PPV, most notably ending The Undertaker's streak.
However, none of that would have happened had Lesnar not avoided a serious or even fatal injury during his first WrestleMania main-event.
Such was his explosion in WWE, the 44-year-old was in the highlight match at 'Mania XIX just over a year after debuting on the main roster.
Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle to capture the WWE title but the match is still most remembered for the infamous shooting star press.
Nowadays, Lesnar is perfectly happy to stick to Suplexes and F5's but in his youth he used to dazzle fans by performing moves that didn't seem possible for a man his size.
One of those was the Shooting Star Press - a backflip off the top rope into a body press - that Lesnar used to whip out in WWE's developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW).
He attempted the move in his WrestleMania debut but botched the move and landed on his neck causing a severe concussion.
Lesnar told : “That was foolish on my behalf.
“So you get people, producers, and people from higher up in the company that they always want this WrestleMania moment. And this would, you know, be fantastic and so I practiced it the night before.
"I was doing it in Ohio Valley Wrestling when I was being trained. So I’m a 310-pound man, six foot three, doing a front backflip off the top rope and landing on my opponent and winning matches.
“Mr. Perfect, Curt Hennig, bless his soul, he said ‘you don’t need to do that, you know? Stop doing that.’ And thankfully, I didn’t break my neck or anything like that. But I shouldn’t have done that move."
Ordinarily even though Lesnar was booked to win that night, the finish would have been changed for Angle to quickly pin Lesnar so that he could be assessed backstage.
But Angle was already wrestling with a broken neck and was having surgery the following day so couldn't afford to leave the PPV as champion.
So what followed was Angle having to help a concussed Lesnar win the match before the full weight of his mistake started to set in.
Gerald Brisco, former WWE executive and talent scout, told : "After (Lesnar) attempted a shooting star press on Angle at WrestleMania XIX and hurt his neck, he came backstage and started throwing stuff.
"None of the medical people would get close to him. Brock wouldn't let anybody look at him. Nobody. Doctors wanted to get to him. Trainers wanted to get to him."
Lesnar ultimately left WWE in 2004 and after a brief dream of playing in the NFL, ended up taking the UFC by storm.
So much so that he became a coach on the company's reality television series The Ultimate Fighter where he again proved he has very little regard for his own health and safety.
Chuck O'Neil, who was on Lesnar's team in 2010, said: "We had a van that came and picked us up at the house every day.
"We were rolling up to the training facility. We were just talking, shooting the s***, and then we just get slammed from behind.
"We looked back behind us and there was Brock in this huge white truck. He was just like laughing - like the normal Brock Lesnar laugh from TV. He was ramming into the van.
"We get out and we're like, "What are you doing?" We're thinking it's his truck. He's like, "Oh, I don't give a s***, it's Dana White's truck anyways."
"He just smashed into our van. Dana rented him a house and rented him a truck. We were like, "What the hell just happened?" We weren't really sure."
Hopefully at WrestleMania in his clash with Reigns he will come out unscathed again - champion or not.
