‘Incredible human’ – Finn Balor reveals emotional Bray Wyatt regret that will serve as post-WWE WrestleMania XL plans

Finn Balor has shared his regret that he never got the chance to do The Fiend versus The Demon following Bray Wyatt's passing.
Wyatt, whose real name is Windham Rotunda, tragically passed away at the age of 36 last August following an undisclosed health issue.
His death had a significant impact on wrestling colleagues and fans alike, with Balor admitting he regrets never being able to finish off in-ring plans he’d set with the enigmatic Wyatt for their in-ring feud.
Prior to his illness, the three-time WWE world champion had cemented himself as one of the most popular stars in the company with The Fiend.
Wyatt's supernatural alter-ego made his in-ring debut at SummerSlam 2019, where Balor was his first opponent.
The latter has his own widely popular dark gimmick, known as the 'Demon King' or simply the 'Demon'.
However, for one reason or another, the two versions were never on show at once whenever Balor and Wyatt shared a ring.
The Judgement Day member is in action at WrestleMania XL this weekend to defend his Undisputed Tag Team titles alongside Damian Priest.
Once the dust has settled on the weekend as a whole, Balor has clear plans for the following week.
He’ll be settling down to take in Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal, the newly-released documentary celebrating the life and career of Balor’s close friend Wyatt.

Of the documentary, he added: “I have not had a chance to see it yet, but I will next week when things calm down a bit.
“Just speaking personally about Bray, or Windham; what an incredible human.
“He was someone I had the privilege of getting to work with a lot, not only in when I first came to the main roster, but then in my second run, too.
“I always look back with a little bit of sadness that we never got to do The Fiend versus The Demon.
“We’d done every other version of the match except that, and we were hoping to get to that, but maybe in the next life.â€
