‘I’ve proven my value’ – Logan Paul breaks silence after Ronda Rousey criticism

Logan Paul offered a classy response to Ronda Rousey's comments about the perceived special treatment he receives in WWE.
YouTube sensation Paul, like UFC icon Rousey, smoothly transitioned to professional wrestling after success elsewhere.
The Maverick is the current WWE United States Champion following a successful title defence at last weekend’s WrestleMania XL.
The influencer turned boxer and now grappler has wrestled just 11 times since his 2022 debut for the company.
However, Paul's background as a gifted wrestler in both high school and college alongside his natural charisma from his social media fame has already made him one of WWE's biggest names.
While Rousey praised his performances, the MMA legend claimed WWE afforded the 29-year-old more resources for his matches and development than they did for her.
Paul was asked about 'Rowdy's' remarks on his brother's podcast and suggested Rousey was more likely frustrated with WWE and not him.
He told : "I have a lot of respect for Ronda Rousey.
"Every time I've met her, it's been very amicable. So, when she's saying that, I don't think it's like a personal attack on me by any means.
"I don't feel she's coming after me. I feel she's maybe using me as an example to express her dissatisfaction with maybe how she was treated in the WWE, but I can't speak on that because I don't know how she was treated."
Rousey, who wrestled what appears to have been her final WWE match last summer, has taken several public swipes at the company since her exit.
A multi-time former wrestling champ in her own right, Rousey has vowed she’ll never return to WWE having criticised their treatment of female stars during her time there.
She stepped away from action following her Summerslam 2023 outing against Shayna Baszler and has opened up about the difficulties she faced with concussion during her transition from UFC to the wrestling ring.
Becky Lynch agreed that WWE did Rousey no favours in their booking of her following her WrestleMania 34 debut.
Paul added: "I don't think she's a hater. I think she might be unhappy with how her run in the WWE went, but I don't know anything really about that.
"All I know is how I work and the facilities and time that I've been given to make my matches as best as possible, because I think WWE recognises that when I put on a good match, which will happen every single time I perform, the outcome and the reaction of the fans is immense.
"It fills the audience and I think I’ve proven my value both in and out of the ring, on the mic, wrestling.
"The impressions that I’m delivering the company are second to none.â€
