WWE fans hail ‘insane’ Raw ending as new group debuts, former champ returns and Drew McIntyre dramatically ‘quits’

WWE fans were left buzzing after a wild episode of Monday Night Raw ended with the long-awaited debut of the new Wyatt Family.
Episodes of Raw, Smackdown and WWE PLE’s have featured mysterious teases and warnings as to their impending debut for the last few months.
Expectant fans finally got their wish in the closing stages of Monday’s instalment of the red-brand show, as the all-new faction finally appeared in a scene of utter devastation.
Stars involved included wrestlers formerly known as Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis and, of course, Bo Dallas – the real-life brother of tragic star Bray Wyatt who passed away less than a year ago at the age of 36.
The Wyatt Family was much the product of his creative mind, and to many, the rebirth of the group is in his honour and memory – and fans were in no doubt that the debut did him proud.
As Jey Uso was celebrating a win in the night’s main event, the lights in the arena cut out before each mysterious Wyatt Family figure took turns to reveal themselves – each leaving a trail of bodies in their wake.

The final reveal was that of Dallas – or Uncle Howdy as he’ll now be known – who left behind him a bloodied Chad Gable in a chilling scene that proved a hit with those watching.
One user on X said: “My god they actually killed off Chad Gable, that was totally out of this world!â€
Another said of the Raw ending: “Not gonna lie…this is pretty awesome, yet scary,†while a third praised: “That was incredible! I have no idea how this fits in with the rest of the product. But I’m here for that!!â€
“Insane stuff,†a further fan chirped in, with another observer emotionally stating: “I started crying as soon as the music hit. They did bray so proud tonight.

WWE Head of Creative Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque later posted an image of Wyatt standing in the ring seemingly in tribute to the fallen great.
The epic arrival of the Wyatt Family was just part of what was an eventful episode of Raw.
Fresh from his crushing Clash at the Castle defeat at the hands of Damian Priest in Glasgow that lead to trolling online from Celtic, Drew McIntyre ‘quit’ WWE by walking out on the show.
In what is no doubt a storyline development, the irate Scot announced his decision in the ring before doubling down to boss Levesque backstage.
McIntyre’s call appears to be the latest twist in his rivalry with CM Punk, who cost the brute the match on Saturday before appearing at the post-show press conference in a Celtic jacket.
Elsewhere, there was a major return on Raw as Seth Rollins appeared for the first time in two months to accept a challenge for Priest's World Heavyweight Championship.
Rollins took time out to heal from surgery after pulling double duty at WrestleMania XL back in April, but emerged refreshed in Corpus Christi, Texas to confront the champ.
After a back-and-forth, the two agreed to meet at Money in the Bank in Canada next month for the gold.
