Wrestling fans couldn’t get enough of one segment on this week’s Raw after seeing one star crushed on top of a car by a rival.

The feud between Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed has been steadily building in recent weeks and took a turn for the drastic in the latest episode of the red brand show.

The pair of bustling behemoths have been trading blows here and there over recent Raws, and finally got their hands on each other in a sanctioned match in Providence, Rhode Island.

Perhaps not unsurprisingly, the action didn’t stay within the confines of the wrestling ring for long as, within moments, the rivals were battling on the outside of it, carrying their whacking and bashing all the way up the entrance ramp.

When things spilled backstage, the aggression was turned up a further notch as the pair began throwing objects at one another – Reed starting things off by waiting behind the curtain to lob a trash can in Strowman’s face.

The duo even began hurling security guards – thankfully portrayed by other wrestlers – across the floor and into things in the process as viewers were quickly given the impression that something climatic was coming.

WWE didn’t disappoint when Strowman and Reed began using cars as weapons. The former drove the latter on to the bonnet of one vehicle with a chokeslam, before a shoulder tackle send the Aussie into another.

When the strapping Reed, who weighs almost 24 stone (330lbs) later began ascending the wall next to the parked cars with Strowman prone on the roof one below, there looked to be only one outcome, and the former NXT North American Champion duly followed through.

Taking time to pose and taunt in typical pro wrestler fashion, he launched himself down on to Strowman with his trademark Tsunami finishing move, shattering the glass in the side windows in the process and sending sparks flying.

It was blissful chaos, and fans on X were in dreamland, one saying: “This is real wrestling bro. This is what made me fall in love with the game.”

“Holy s*** that entire sequence was wild,” another added. “They definitely brought the meat.”

A further fan joked: “So, does insurance cover this? How would you file THAT claim?” While another praised: “That tsunami was as insane. The announcers sold it and the destruction was epic. Loved it.”

The bone-crunching scene will naturally pave the way for another meeting between the two grappling big boys who are among the big hitters on the current Raw scene.

Both are in their second stings with WWE, with 36-year-old Reed re-signing in 2022 having previously wrestled there between 2019 and 2021.

Strowman, meanwhile, is a former US Strongman competitor who defeated legend Goldberg at WrestleMania in 2020 to win the WWE Universal Championship.

He was released the company in 2021 but returned just over two years ago to continue a career that’s also seen him hold the Intercontinental tile in addition to various reigns as a tag team champion.
