Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan leaves Logan Paul stunned with five-word reason why he’s the future of WWE

Logan Paul could be wrestling’s ‘next big attraction’, according to multi-time former world champion Hulk Hogan.
The YouTube sensation turned professional wrestler is in the midst of a career break of sorts, having not featured in WWE since losing his United States Championship at SummerSlam.
The 29-year-old was dethroned in chaotic scenes by LA Knight in Paul’s hometown of Ohio and, as with many stars after ending a lengthy title run, has been away from screens over the last couple of weeks.
The star is also expecting his first child with fiancée Nina Agdal, but still has his eyes firmly fixed on his eventual return to the ring and what lies ahead.
He as much with legend Hogan on an episode of his Impaulsive podcast, newly released but seemingly filmed before his title defeat.
Paul was left blown away by glowing praise from the icon of the 1980s and 1990s, the Hulkster adamant the upstart has what it takes to make it big in the business.
That’s because, he claimed, the entrepreneur ‘has his s*** together’, Paul visibly taken aback by the lofty endorsement from one of the all-time greats.
“Watching you my brother,” Hulk said. “You have an opportunity to be the next big attraction in this business, simply because you’ve got your s*** together.
“I’ve never seen anybody get this as quick as you have, I’ve never seen anybody, since I’ve been a wrestling fan, since I was in the business [for] 40 years, I’ve never seen anybody pick up on it as quick as you have.
“Your stuff looks f****** believable, there’s no holes in your work, just don’t get hurt!”
The influencer, who boasts over 23 million subscribers to his YouTube channel, repeated his desire to give professional wrestling his full focus in the near future.
Having recounted his demand to WWE Head of Creative Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque that he wants to be ‘the guy’ in the industry’s biggest company, and said 2025 will mark the start of a new chapter in that regard.
“It’s such an honour hearing that from you, and I think I’ve recently had that realisation.
“I try to say this humbly, but also not, I did look in the mirror and looked at my craft and thought: ‘I think I can do this if I can actually devote my time to it.’
“So I did have the conversation with Triple H, I said: ‘Hey, I want to be the guy, what do I have to do to be the guy?’
“I’m going to start making that run next year in 2025. Wrestling is by far the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do, there are so many skills involved, it is a 365-degree art, as you know.
“At the end of the day, it always comes back to storytelling – what is that story you’re trying to tell so you can hook people into your art?”
Logan Paul only made his WWE debut in 2022 and, despite his rapid ascent and the accompanying plaudits, has wrestled on just 15 occasions since.
He won the US title from Rey Mysterio in November 2023 and carried the gold up to SummerSlam’s eventful bout with Knight.
