Raw results 6/3 – Reigns gets WrestleMania warning from The Deadman

One night removed from Fastlane and all roads are leading to WrestleMania, as Monday Night Raw headed full speed towards next month’s show of shows in Orlando.
A name that has become synonymous with WrestleMania is The Undertaker and he made a shock return last night and looked to be signaling his intentions for April’s showpiece. His appearance came in the final segment of the evening, as Braun Strowman headed to ringside to call out Roman Reigns. However, instead of the man who had defeated him twenty-four hours previously, Strowman was greeted with the infamous gongs of the Phenom and he and The Undertaker stood face-to-face in the ring. This was more than the ‘Monster Among Men’ had bargained far and as he slowly retreated through the crowd, Reigns did finally appear to stare down the Deadman and warn him that this is his yard now. That’s not something The Undertaker takes too kindly to though, and with one nod to the WrestleMania sign and a huge chokeslam to the ‘Big Dog’ he seemingly challenged Reigns to prove that very statement on the grandest stage of them all.
One match that is set for WrestleMania following last night’s events is Chris Jericho putting his US Title on the line against former best friend Kevin Owens. Y2J opened Monday Night Raw, having cost Owens his Universal crown at Fastlane, and was finally seeking answers from the former champion to why he betrayed him and their friendship. It didn’t take long to get an answer, as Owens explained that he never saw Jericho as a friend, merely a tool to watch his back, before he became a burden and that’s when it was enough. The exchange led to Jericho challenging KO for a match at WrestleMania, but not before the pair got into a brawl here and the former friends had allies too, with Samoa Joe getting involved before Sami Zayn evened the odds. Leading to two single matches between the four stars that saw Owens pick up another win over Zayn and Joe defeat Jericho via count-out.
The man Kevin Owens lost to at Fastlane and new WWE Universal Champion, Goldberg got his own warning on this week’s show as Brock Lesnar made his mark on the new champ. Goldberg’s title celebrations were interrupted by The Beast and his advocate Paul Heyman and with a thunderous F5 Lesnar proved his ready for their final showdown at WrestleMania.
We also now know where we’re headed in the Women’s title picture for WrestleMania, with a triple-threat set for Orlando after some power maneuvering from Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon. Foley had wanted to book Bayley v Sasha for next month, but McMahon disagreed and put Charlotte in the match instead and gave Sasha the chance to earn her way into the match if she could defeat Bayley. Thus saw the first main roster meeting between ‘The Hugger’ and ‘The Boss’ and it was Banks who prevailed and means we now have Bayley putting her Raw Women’s Title on the line against both Charlotte Flair and Sasha in Orlando.
