‘The matter will be dealt with’ – Triple H breaks silence on WWE’s Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes incident

Triple H wasted no time in delivering his verdict on the backstage brawl that rocked WWE Bad Blood.
Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes went head-to-head in brutal fight that was captured in fan footage after the broadcast went off the air.
Rhodes, the Undisputed Universal Champion, was victorious in the main event of Saturday's premium live event, teaming with former rival Roman Reigns to defeat The Bloodline.
But after picking up the win, he was assaulted by Owens backstage, who blindsided him with a serious of punches and kicks in the car park.
The pair were then separated by security rushing to the scene.
WWE's TV cameras did not capture the incident, but fan footage was quickly shared on social media.
Less than 24 hours later, the company's Chief Content Officer, Paul "Triple H" Levesque, issued a statement on the brawl.
"We are aware of the incident outside of the arena last night between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. The matter will be dealt with internally," Levesque wrote.
WWE has yet to acknowledge Owens' apparent heel turn on their website or social media, further adding to the intrigue of the moment.
The two superstars have been at odds since August, when Rhodes defeated Owens to retain his title at Bash in Berlin.
Their feud has been heating up in recent weeks, with the Canadian expressing his frustration with the champion for teaming up with Reigns to take on The Bloodline.
That came to a head after the show, and could have major implications on WWE's storytelling moving forward.
But the backstage brawl wasn't the only notable moment that Rhodes was involved in at Bad Blood.
After their victory in the main event, Rhodes and Reigns were caught off-guard by The Rock, who stared down to them from the ramp as he made his return to WWE.
The Hollywood star was seen counting to three before turning around and exiting the stage without saying a word to the pair.
It was the first time he was seen on WWE TV since the RAW after WrestleMania 40 back in April.
The two surprise moments have left fans wondering what is to come for the company's top stars. The Rock has previously hinted at a bout with Rhodes, but he could now have his hands full with Owens.
That would open the door for an earth-shattering clash between The Rock and Reigns, with two major events, Crown Jewel and Survivor Series, on the horizon.
The two cousins could face off in a dream match at either of those two PPVs, finally giving fans the battle they were expecting to see at WrestleMania, before Rhodes was reinstated in the main event due to popular demand.
