Ziggler’s hottest week in WWE? Intercontinental champ praised by legends

WWE legends have heaped praise on Dolph Ziggler as the Intercontinental champ enjoys one of his hottest weeks in the company.
Ziggler, 34, reclaimed the title for a FOURTH time from Luke Harper in a pulsating ladder match at Sunday’s TLC event before downing Money in the Bank contract holder Seth Rollins on last night’s SuperSmackDown LIVE - and his toil and graft has not gone unnoticed by the likes of Steve Austin and Scott Hall.
“Hellacious ladder match,” tweeted Stone Cold. “Great action. Great bumps. Great finish.”
Hall, known for his own ladder match excellence in WWE as Razor Ramon, also offered his congratulations to both Ziggler and Harper for their “stellar” performances.
“Keep doing your thing young man,” he added. “Talent always wins in the end.”
Ziggler’s recent successful run kicked off at November’s Survivor Series, when he overcame the odds to defeat Harper, Rollins and Kane to ensure The Authority - Triple H and Stephanie McMahon - were removed from their position of influence.
His subsequent wins and reactions garnered from the crowd would indicate superstar Dolph now occupies one of the senior crowd favourite spots on the roster, alongside John Cena, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
