WWE Raw results: Brock Lesnar humbled by Seth Rollins on miserable night for The Beast

WWE: Brock Lesnar

The Beast's fearsome reputation was slain last night as Seth Rollins and The Authority's goon squad humbled Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar, 37, was beaten down and Pedigreed by Rollins after Kane and J&J Security fell back in with the grovelling WWE World Heavyweight champ, set to defend his title against Brock at Battleground.

The assault topped off a miserable night for the most impressive force WWE has ever promoted, having apologised to commentators JBL and Michael Cole for his one man riot on Raw the night after Wrestlemania.

Rollins, however, was jubilant at smoothing over his troubles with his stablemates - and insisted he would repel Lesnar’s challenge.

He said backstage: "The band’s back together!

"I’ve been telling everybody all night long, when we’re together, we’re unstoppable."

Rollins continued: "I am not afraid of Brock Lesnar. I’m going to beat Brock Lesnar so bad at Battleground, I’m going to make the beating I laid upon him at Wrestlemania look obsolete by comparison.

"We are back together, better than ever - The Authority reigns supreme, baby!"
