First pairs announced for Mixed Match Challenge

Mixed Match Challenge sees WWE link-up with Facebook Watch

WWE is set to launch its brand new show on Facebook Watch later this month and the first news of who will line up with who has been announced.

 

WWE Mixed Match Challenge will see male and female Superstars from Raw and SmackDown team-up in a mixed tag team match tournament, with a chance of winning $100,000 for a charity of their choice. Kicking-off on 16 January, the show will be exclusive to Facebook Watch and we know now the first four combinations that be part of the twelve part series.

 

On the Raw side WWE Raw Women’s Champion is joining forces with Braun Strowman is the ultimate little and large combination, while Finn Bálor, who was widely expected to be paired with Bayley, will instead be teaming with ‘The Boss’ Sasha Banks. Over on SmackDown, there’s a reunion for husband and wife Rusev and Lana as one of the blue brand’s announced duos as well as the charismatic combo of Bobby Roode and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.

 

 

 

 

 

More teams are set to be revealed in the coming days and it follows the announcement that WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix will also be part of the show, alongside Michael Cole and Corey Graves on the broadcast team.
