When will we NXT see you again?

NXT favourite Sami Zayn thanked British wrestling fans for being the most passionate in the world as WWE’s highly-acclaimed developmental division tour concluded its first international tour at a sold out Wembley Arena.
Over ten thousand raucous punters created one of the most stirring and unique atmospheres in WWE memory as adapted chants from the footy stands and a surging gig spirit produced fervent reactions for the live WWE Network broadcast.
Crowd darlings Bayley, Chad Gable and Jason Jordan, and Enzo Amore and Big Cass came in for some of the most vigorous and sustained appreciative serenading - but every single one of the show’s main roster hopefuls came in for attention of an intensity rarely witnessed on the other side of the pond.
Ace Zayn, 31, made his return to the ring after six months on the bench following a shoulder op on the first night of the seven date tour in Newcastle last week. And although he was not billed to perform on the NXT TakeOver: London card, the Canadian star made a special appearance after the pulsating main event between NXT champion Finn Balor and Samoa Joe in a bonus match.
Following a quick win over Tye Dillinger, Zayn sank to his knees as he absorbed choruses of 'Ole, Ole, Ole’ and 'Welcome back’, telling of his relief to be making his comeback before hailing the uniquely British reception he and NXT’s travelling stars had enjoyed.
Addressing the timing of his injury woes, the affable workhorse reflected: "I feel like the trend in my career has been every time a dream comes true, it quickly becomes a nightmare.
"It happened when when I won the NXT championship, and it happened when I showed up on Monday Night Raw to take on John Cena in my hometown. But tonight was a dream and tonight that trend is is broken!"
He continued, pointing backstage: "Guys, you’ve been an amazing audience all night for over three hours, screaming your heads off. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it, how everyone back there appreciates it."
To roars, Zayn added: "They hear you - let them hear you! Let them hear you!
"London, thank you so much."
Attempting to namecheck the other big city stops on the loop, he soon realised the impish fans booing mentions of Newcastle, Glasgow, Sheffield, Blackpool, Nottingham and Cardiff were doing so in jest.
Zayn joked about the mock tension: "Is there some weird British heat that I don’t know about here?
"Well listen, you may not like those other towns - but we did. We love them, we love you - we loved touring the UK.
"This is not just, like: ‘Oh, thank you for coming.’ I sincerely mean it. There is no way we would've been able to come here without the rabid support of some of the best fans I have ever had the pleasure of working in front of. Thank you."
And although Zayn stopped short of suggesting when NXT may return to the UK, he did promise "more and more great things like this will happen with in 2016".
British wrestling legend Johnny Saint, 74, also received plaudits from the crowd in a fitting acknowledgment of the master ring technician’s enduring influence on the stars of tomorrow, for both the domestic scene and WWE.
