WWE gossip column: Sasha Banks unhappy, Matt Hardy not retired and all today’s top news
WWE is going through a bit of a crisis with talent at the moment and it seems more superstars were unhappy than they thought.

The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is just six days away and the rumour mills have never been hotter.
With several WWE talents said to be unhappy with their positions in the company, we take a look at today's backstage news:
Sasha Banks reportedly unhappy in WWE
The Boss is heading for a showdown with Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's title at the Royal Rumble, but Dave Meltzer is suggesting the WWE have given her that spot to appease her.
Banks has been in a long, long, very long storyline with Bayley that hasn't really taken an interesting turn in a while and she's been having six-woman tags against the Riott Squad for the better part of the last nine months. As a four-time woman's champion, she hasn't had a one-on-one title match since August 2017 and she's said to be unhappy about her booking.
A Raw team set to win the Raw Women's Tag team titles at Elimination Chamber
According to, a team from the Raw brand will be the first-ever Women's Tag Team champions.
Chances are that narrows it down to Sasha Banks and Bayley, The Riott Squad and then possible combinations like Alexa Bliss and Mickie James, Natalya and Ronda Rousey or, more likely, Nia Jax and Tamina. Rumours suggest that one of Bayley and Banks will turn and the WWE brass thinks a lot of the Riott Squad...
Why The Revival asked for their release from WWE
Pro Wrestling Sheet says that The Revival asked for their release from WWE because they're unhappy with how the company books the entire tag team division, not just their own personal booking.
Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are both under contract with the WWE until April 2020, so it's in the WWE's interest to find a resolution with the Top Guys.
WWE announces nine participants for the Women's Royal Rumble
On Sunday, the WWE took the unprecedented step of announcing some participants for the Royal Rumble ahead of time.
Of course, Carmella will be entering at number 30 by virtue of winning the Mixed Match Challenge with R-Truth.
Joining 'Mella in the match are: Lana, Charlotte, Tamina, Nia Jax, Dana Brooke, Naomi, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce and Nikki Cross. No real surprises there.
Matt Hardy is not retired from WWE?
The 44-year-old looked to have hung up his boots last summer with a number of injuries finally catching up with the Hardy Boy, but the Broken One has moved to deny that notion.
Hardy has been out of action since last July and has been seen working as a backstage producer in WWE. However, he tweeted that he has been working hard to make a return.
