With WWE Elimination Chamber and Monday Night Raw in the books, the WWE has made plenty of curious decisions over the past few days.

According to the ever-reliable , WWE creative were asked to "think outside the box" this week ahead of Monday Night Raw and that seemingly resulted in the debuts of NXT stars Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Aleister Black and Richochet.

The belief is that WWE believed all four men would generate interest after their showings during the six-man tag team match during halftime of the Super Bowl.

Sasha Banks & Bayley heading for Trish Stratus & Lita

After becoming the first-ever WWE Women's Tag Team champions, Sasha Banks and Bayley are likely to hold the belts until WrestleMania 35 where a long-rumoured title match against Trish Stratus and Lita will go down.

That plan has been a rumour for a while, but a Twitter interaction between Bayley and Trish yesterday appears to be the start of the angle.

Surprises at Ric Flair's 70th birthday next week on Raw

The WWE has begun teasing that some legends and superstars will appear next week to help celebrate Ric Flair's 70th birthday.

It's thought that the WWE will use this event to bring back Batista and start his angle with Triple H for WrestleMania 35.

Women rehearsed Elimination Chamber match

According to Dave Meltzer, WWE had Sasha Banks, Bayley, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Tamina, Nia Jax, Many Rose, Sonya Deville, Naomi, Carmella, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay pulled from live events leading up to the Elimination Chamber in order to rehearse the match.

The match had a few botches and missed spots but generally served as a fine opener to the pay-per-view.
