WWE and AEW news: Potential Seth Rollins heel turn, FOX really wanted Ronda Rousey on SmackDown but settled for Brock Lesnar

With RAW in the books this week already, we've still got plenty of wrestling to come from NWA, AEW and indeed, WWE.
And that's just up until Friday! Let's dig into the news:
Why Carmella and R-Truth were split up
In the WWE draft, R-Truth was sent to RAW while Carmella ended up on SmackDown Live.
Dave Meltzer says that Truth had to stay on RAW because the 24/7 will stay there as it's the USA Network's idea. Truth is obviously synonymous with the belt, but Carmella will go to Friday nights to stay on the same travel schedule as partner and Blue Brand commentator, Corey Graves.
Seth Rollins not turning heel
Sticking with Meltzer, he also says the closing segment of Raw this week that saw Seth Rollins burn down Bray Wyatt's Firefly Funhouse was not designed to be a heel turn.
Many fans had hoped Rollins was heading for the darkside and he has been garnering very negative reactions as of late.
Luke Harper's future up in the air
Luke Harper briefly returned to WWE to team up with Erick Rowan against Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, but it seems like he'll be back off TV now with no sign of his contract dispute ending anytime soon.
"When he came back they only had an idea or ideas up until that last PPV, it was basically to set up that tag team match, Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan," Meltzer said.
FOX wanted Ronda Rousey and settled for Brock Lesnar
The Wrestling Observer reports that the reason Brock Lesnar was drafted to SmackDown because FOX wants a mainstream star on their show.
They actually wanted Ronda Rousy, but given she is not returning yet, Lesnar is the next best option.
