Tyson Fury shocked the world when he turned up in WWE, but the boxer was made for professional wrestling.

The Gypsy King is still recovering from a nasty eye injury suffered in his victory over Otto Wallin in September, but the self-proclaimed natural entertainer making the leap from one ring to another, suits his personality and it seems Vince McMahon and Triple H wholeheartedly agree.

Speaking to talkSPORT ahead of his WWE bow, Fury revealed The Game Triple H told him he was 'built for this'.

"Insane [working so closely with Triple H]. Everyone at WWE from the top to the bottom have been more than kind and helpful. They've helped me out with tons of stuff, been very welcoming and got me everything that I needed. Can't complain at all. Very professional people and outfit.

"He just said 'Be yourself and enjoy it. You were built for this'."

Fury is following in the footsteps of Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali as famous boxers who made the leap to WWE at some stage, and Vince McMahon sold that to him, too.

"In modern history, there's only been - Vince McMahon told me - [from the boxing world in WWE] Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather and now, the Gypsy King Tyson Fury. So it's very good company. The most famous boxers of our time."

Tyson Fury will face Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel on Thursday 31st October, live on WWE Network and Sky Sports Box Office
