WWE and AEW news: Stone Cold Steve Austin reacts to CM Punk’s wrestling return, bad botch on AEW Dynamite, Asuka’s WWE future

The Wednesday Night Wars served up yet another fantastic night of wrestling and now we have a great weekend of pay-per-views in store, too.
Let's dive into the latest news doing the rounds:
Steve Austin on CM Punk's WWE return
Speaking on the State of Combat podcast, Stone Cold Steve Austin said: â€I don’t know if it leads to anything more, I guess speculation, to be determined, we’ll find out. Just the fact that he’s returned to be doing business with WWE, I love, because I don’t know, they split up on bad terms, and now they’re back in business together.Â
CM Punk was a lights out pro-wrestler, great promos, great work, great talent, so to have him back in the fold, obviously, I guess they ironed out whatever they need to iron out, and both sides are happy, so it’s great to have CM Punk back in the pro-wrestling/sports entertainment business. It’s a breath of fresh air because the guy brings a great perspective, great insight, and great opinion on all things sports entertainment.â€
Bad AEW botch in Private Party Vs Proud and Powerful

While going for a pin, the referee was counting but knew that wasn't the finish. However, no one kicked out and the ref just stopped counting for no reason. Take a look:
Asuka future
Although there have been rumblings that Kairi Sane may be considering leaving WWE when her contract expires, the same can't be said for her tag team partner, Asuka.
According to , she's very happy in America.
