WWE and AEW news: Roman Reigns favourite to win 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble, Samoa Joe set for babyface run

marvelbet369.com rounds up the latest news and rumours from the wrestling world...
Roman Reigns favourite to win Men’s Royal Rumble
It has been a memorable year for Reigns.
The Big Dog returned to in-ring action in March after a five-month absence as he battled leukemia for a second time in his life.
Since returning, he has been completely over with the crowd, largely down to being away from the title scene.
However, that could change in 2020 with having Reigns as the favourite to win the Men’s Royal Rumble in January at 9/4.
If he wins the Rumble for a second time, reports have claimed Reigns will challenge and beat Bray ‘The Fiend’ Wyatt at WrestleMania 36.
While it would be a great redemption story for Reigns, beating one of WWE’s most popular superstars in Wyatt could see fans turn on him.
Samoa Joe set for babyface run
Joe has been a heel while competing in NXT and WWE – and a very good one.
He has recently been part of Raw’s commentary team while he recovers from a thumb injury.
But Joe took his first bump in weeks on the December 23 edition of a pre-taped Raw after suffering a beatdown from the AOP.
He refused to move when the AOP wanted to put Rey Mysterio through an announcer’s table.
The Wrestling Observer claim Joe is set to be part of a 'main event feud', which could be a six-man tag team match with Mysterio and Kevin Owens against Seth Rollins and the AOP.
Kairi Sane injury update
In the least surprising news ever, Sane was not cleared to compete on this week’s Raw episode.
The women’s tag team champion appeared to suffer a concussion during her match against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair at TLC on Sunday.
Sane took numerous high-risk bumps and seemed to struggle to keep up with the action in the latter stages of the bout.
And say Sane was ‘knocked out’ just minutes into the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match.
