Triple H believes Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns could have legendary rivalry at the level of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock

The WWE draft is heading into its second night, but they already made some major moves on the first.
Both Universal champion Roman Reigns and WWE champion Drew McIntyre remained on SmackDown and RAW respectively and will continue to be the staple of their brands.
Recently, McIntyre suggested he would love to have a champion versus champion match down the line at some point and that would perhaps be the biggest match WWE could put on right now.
Reigns is on a tear as the Tribal Chief and is the best form of himself he has been in WWE. His heel run has revitalised SmackDown with improved ratings.
McIntyre has truly arrived as a top star during his inaugural run as WWE champion. While it's a test run for some, McIntyre has become the top player many had always hoped he would be.
The pair did clash at WrestleMania 35 as Roman's first match following his second fight with leukemia, but it would be an entirely different prospect now.
Speaking on a Comic Con panel, Triple H suggested that a clash between Reigns and McIntyre could be on the level of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.
“The draft is always an exciting time because it creates these…I think in some ways the fantasy moments like I’ll be honest, I don’t want to see Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns yet.
"I would love to see that percolate because I think that a couple of years down the road Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre is a Hulk Hogan-Ric Flair scenario, Rock-‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin scenario, and you don’t want to hit that before it peaks.
"That’s what makes the draft so exciting to me is those moments in time where you were like, ‘well, what if?’ and then ‘what if’ becomes a reality.â€
Rock and Austin are the two biggest stars the world of professional wrestling has ever seen and fans are always crying out for megastars like them to be born again.
With McIntyre and Reigns in their current interactions, they might just be on the right track to make that happen.
