Incredible quote about Michael Jordan emerges of high-school LeBron James prophesying his own greatness
The LeBron James lying meme is a popular viral joke among NBA fans.
The meme originated from a old clip of James predicting Kobe Bryant was going to score 70 points on the night he scored 81. Fans noticed a pattern of LeBron's 'creative embellishments' over the years and turned it into a meme about him predicting all sorts of world events.
However, it appears one of James's old predictions was actually right on the money.
A quote from a teenage LeBron about Michael Jordan actually ended up foreshadowing his own greatness.

It read: "A man 38 years old and still averaging 25-plus points? I give more props to him than anybody right now."

In his personal journal, LeBron wrote: "I didn’t get to play with Mike, but I did get some run with a lot of the other NBA guys, and I talked to Jordan a little bit.
"He didn’t really give me any advice, he just told me to keep my head on straight. We all went out to dinner at his restaurant — the steak and mashed potatoes were tight."
