‘That’s a $300m event’ – Jake Paul up for Mike Tyson clash and jokes he’ll start eating Krispy Kremes to get up to heavyweight
Jake Paul has revealed that he would be willing to fight Mike Tyson at heavyweight and the social media star claims that the event would be worth $300million.
On his Instagram, Paul recently teased a comeback to the boxing ring in August, having not fought since he knocked out Tyron Woodley in emphatic fashion late last year.
Paul's next opponent is currently unknown, but there has been speculation surrounding names such as Tommy Fury and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
In a recent interview, however, Paul expressed an interest in fighting the former undisputed heavyweight world champion, Mike Tyson.
He told : "I joke with my friends about it. I'm like, 'I'll start eating Krispy Kreme doughnuts and move up to heavyweight and take on Mike Tyson.' That would actually excite me and that's a $300million event.
"So, Mike if you're watching this let's have some fun. New school vs old school, I think that's something the fans would want to see."
Tyson has not fought since his eight-round exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr in November 2020 that resulted in an unofficial split decision draw.
'Iron Mike' recently addressed a potential fight with Jake Paul on his podcast, as he said: “Hey, I ain’t got no f****** money. So where’s the f****** contract?
