‘I think that’s reasonable’ – KSI says he would be willing to do a 50/50 split for a fight with Jake Paul but wants name first on the bill and for bout to take place in the UK

KSI has revealed his ideal scenario for negotiations over his potential fight with Jake Paul - and the news will please his UK fanbase.

On Tuesday, KSI's manager revealed that talks had already begun with Paul's team for a fight at the end of the year.

These will likely not be smooth negotiations, as both Paul and KSI will believe they are the A-side fighter, but the Brit has outlined how he would ideally like to see it go.

KSI told talkSPORT: "Ideal scenario is to fight at this weight, 177.5lbs, or I might push it to 180lbs, that's ideal for me.

"I want it to be in the UK.

"In terms of a split, I'll be fair 50/50, I don't want to be a d*******. I think that's reasonable.

"But, I have to be first on the bill, it has to be KSI vs Jake Paul and I walk in last."

Time will only tell as to whether KSI's wish-list is fulfilled, but either way when the pair meet in the ring, KSI is convinced he will emerge victorious.

When asked on talkSPORT Breakfast whether he was ‘the man’ to end Jake's six-fight winning streak in the paid ranks, KSI replied: “Yes, 100 per cent, I am the man.

“That’s the reason I came back and through every fight that I do, you will see that I’m ‘that guy’!

“I really, really love this whole boxing scene, it gives me purpose, it’s my passion right now.

"So, I just want to keep doing what I'm doing and eventually get to Jake Paul and knock him out.”

Jake will be hoping to finish what his brother Logan started with KSI enjoying two fights against the Maverick.

Their first meeting ended in a draw, with the pair turning professional in their rematch, which KSI won on points in America.

They have since become friends and business partners - co-founding the Prime Hydration drinks company that has taken the world by storm.

KSI is back in the ring this weekend where he pits his wits against American social media star Faze Temperrr.
