Fournier was on the canvas within the opening minute, but no knockdown was scored as it was the result of a throw by KSI when they clinched.

The 40-year-old complained about punches to the back of the head and caused a break in the action.

KSI had Fournier on the back foot and expended a lot of energy on dramatic footwork as he chased him around the ring, while not landing many clean punches.

In round two, the older man started well and countered his opponent with a solid right hand.

However, KSI then rocked him with a hard right of his own.

Fournier backed away but KSI pursued him and went to throw a follow-up right hook.

Shockingly though, he accidentally missed with the right hook and instead landed an elbow on Fournier which sent him crashing to the canvas.

The referee did not see this though as it happened in a flash and so Fournier was counted out and KSI was awarded the win.

When asked about the elbow afterwards, the Brit denied it and said: "Nah bro, I hit him with a massive shot and he was dazed, he was scrambling, trying to hold on to me for dear life.
