New footage shows Anthony Joshua play mediator as Conor McGregor and KSI clash at ringside after his KO win over Robert Helenius
Anthony Joshua went from competing in one fight to refereeing another in a matter of seconds on Saturday night.
AJ brutally knocked out Robert Helenius in round seven of their heavyweight clash at the O2 Arena in London before celebrating by doing a lap of the ring.
The former two-time world champion’s flow was momentarily halted by UFC superstar Conor McGregor who sponsored the event and was sitting ringside with his entourage of ring girls.
‘Notorious’ stopped Joshua, forced him to take a swig of his Forged Irish Stout, pointed to someone in the crowd, and appeared to speak dismissively about them.
It quickly became clear McGregor was using his moment with the boxing superstar to take more shots at KSI who he had been poking fun at all night.
New fan footage shows that the Irishman is pointing at KSI and seemingly calling him a ‘b****’ causing Joshua to reply, ‘That’s my guy!’

Moments later, McGregor got in the ring and challenged the YouTuber-turned-boxer to a bare-knuckle fight.
“I know your man KSI is in the crowd, and he couldn't box eggs if he worked in an egg boxing factory,” he said.
"So, if he wants to get in here, I'll give him a final yoke, bare-knuckle if you want."
KSI appeared to miss that part but responded when a video of McGregor calling him out went viral on social media.
“Lmao just seen this,” he wrote.
“Jake Paul must be crying that I’ve got Connor on my d*** already and I didn’t even have to fight an mma fighter”
McGregor and KSI have other fights to concentrate on right now.
‘Mystic Mac’ is currently gearing up for his first bout since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021 as he is booked to face Michael Chandler.
It was believed McGregor’s return to MMA had been delayed until 2024 due to a drug testing issue, but the 35-year-old insists he will compete at UFC 296 on December 16.
Two months prior, KSI will face Tommy Fury in Manchester on October 14.
It’ll be the toughest test of his boxing career as Tyson Fury’s little brother is 9-0 in the sport after recently outpointing Jake Paul.
Both men are hoping to fight ‘The Problem Child’ if victorious.
