‘He’s not a boxer’ – George Groves labels Tommy Fury a ‘YouTube fighter’ and says KSI could outbox him
Tommy Fury may be the favourite going into their fight - but George Groves believes KSI could have what it takes to win.
Fury, the younger brother of WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury, is from a fighting family and he has been boxing since he was a child.
This should give him a major advantage over KSI ahead of their clash in Manchester on Saturday night.
But, former super middleweight world champion Groves does not believe that Fury can be classed as a professional boxer, instead branding him a 'YouTube fighter'.
Groves claims this is due to the fact that Fury beat social media star Jake Paul by split decision and now he is taking on KSI rather than forging his career against legitimate professionals.
“People in the industry say Tommy Fury is a pro boxer, but I disagree," Groves told .

"I think he's a YouTube fighter.
"He's known for being in YouTube fights. And now he's fighting KSI, who is a YouTuber. He's not a boxer. Just own it…
"And I don't think this fight with KSI is as easy as they make out.
"KSI’s light and agile, he might be up for it and he could outbox and outfox Fury.”
This comes after Groves' former rival, Carl Froch, criticised influencer boxing in general, describing it as 'play fighting'.
“Tommy Fury and KSI should not be called boxing," Froch told
"For me this isn't professional boxing.
"KSI isn't a pro fighter and this should be called a night of play fighting not professional boxing.
"But, Tommy Fury better f***ing win because even though this is play fighting, he’s representing pro boxing."
