Jake Paul recreates opponent Mike Tyson biting Evander Holyfield’s ear in comical sketch after announcing fight

Jake Paul has recreated Mike Tyson's infamous ear bite against Evander Holyfield in a sketch to promote their showdown.

The YouTube star will touch gloves with the heavyweight icon on July 20, in an exhibition fight that has divided opinion.

Paul rose to notoriety on social media for his comedy sketches alongside brother Logan Paul, where he has amassed a following in excess of ten million.

He has since used his online presence to capture large audiences for his boxing fights including for showdowns against Tommy Fury and Nate Diaz.

His next contest against the former undisputed champion will be broadcast on streaming service Netflix, so could attract the eyes of millions around the globe.

And in typical fashion, Paul released a promo of himself to his fans which has certainly attracted attention.

The footage begins by showing the moment that Tyson got into a clinch with bitter rival Holyfield, before biting a portion of his ear off which saw him disqualified.

Cleverly, Paul has managed to find a sparring partner of his own to recreate the footage where he is seen taking the same bite.

Paul then spits the ear on to the floor, before narrating the sequence to promote the fight.

He said: "Not only do I have the honour of fighting the most famous boxers who has ever lived, it is live on Netflix."

Paul's creative spin on Tyson's famous disqualification has shown his creative side, but he will want to also showcase his skills in the ring.

Concerns have been raised about Tyson, who has been pictured using a walking stick in recent years.

New footage emerged of the champion working the heavy bag, and fans have already expressed their worry about the potential outcome.

There is a 31-year gap between the pair, but it is expected that the contest will take place under exhibition rules.
