‘Murderous’ – Conor McGregor shocked as BKFC fighter attacks rival with scales after punches thrown

Chaos erupted at the BKFC 70 weigh-in in Hollywood, Florida.

Just before main eventers Luis Paolomino and Howard Davis took to the scales, heavyweights Leonardo 'Zambo' Perdomo (6-0) and Steve Herelius (1-1) got into a heated confrontation.

After facing off, the pair began trading verbal jabs.

"I'm not playing, see you tomorrow n******," said Perdomo.

"I know you are Mike Tyson," scoffed Herelius as he placed his hand on his adversary's shoulder.

Perdomo didn't appreciate the physical contact and batted Herelius' hand away, prompting the Frenchman to retaliate with a backhand slap to the face.

'Zambo' then uncorked a big left hand that caught Herelius on the neck.

Security quickly stepped in to break up the commotion, and for a moment, it seemed the tensions had fizzled out.

That was until Herelius picked up the weigh-in scales and charged at Perdomo.

Luckily, he was withheld before he could do any serious damage, while both men were quickly escorted off the stage thereafter.

BKFC founder David Feldman looked furious as he ripped the scales out of Herelius's hand.

But co-owner Conor McGregor appeared to enjoy the show.

Taking to X, he wrote: "Absolutely Murderous! See you tomorrow night for Bare Knuckle at the Hard Rock!"

The former dual-weight UFC champion purchased a large stake in the company last year and is hoping to fight for the promotion in the not-so-distant future.

McGregor still has two fights remaining on his UFC deal.

However, he hasn't competed since breaking his leg during his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.

The Irishman was supposed to make a comeback against Michael Chandler last June, but he pulled out with a broken toe, and the fight hasn't been rescheduled since.
