Floyd Mayweather tips Selfridges guards £2,000 during lavish London shopping spree – but they can’t keep it

Floyd Mayweather stuck true to his 'Money' moniker by generously tipping the security guards at Selfridges.

The American boxing legend was in the London department store on a spending spree.

when they were told they couldn't pocket the funds and would instead be forced to donate all of it to charity.

"The guards are absolutely furious," a source told the Daily Mail.

"It's just so unfair. This was a gift for keeping him safe and security don't get paid a lot.

"Selfridges have effectively taken their cash.

"The personal shoppers who helped Mayweather were allowed to keep their tips, which was £3,000 each.

"But bosses have decided the guards are not allowed their money, and it will be given to charity.

"Security have asked to see receipts from the chosen charity, but bosses refused to provide them.
