Ben Whittaker vs Liam Cameron thrown into chaos as boxers in dispute over rule change
Liam Cameron claimed live on talkSPORT that Ben Whittaker's team are trying to change the number of rounds for their rematch - despite the contracts already being signed.
The bitter rivals are set to square off on April 20 at the BP Pulse LIVE Arena in Birmingham after their inaugural encounter last October ended in controversy.
In the dying embers of the fifth round, both men flipped over the top rope, resulting in Whittaker sustaining injuries that left him unable to continue.
Cameron had been on the ascendancy when the fight was waved off and affirmed Whittaker had 'looked for a way out'.
As four rounds had been completed, the fight went to the judges' scorecards, with the bout being declared a split draw.
Cameron was snapped up by Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions thereafter and subsequently signed to run it back with Whittaker over 12 rounds.

However, the Sheffield boxer insists Whittaker's representatives are trying to reduce the number of rounds to 10 just over three weeks before fight night.
During an appearance on talkSPORT's White and Jordan show on Monday, Cameron said: "There is a mess about with the contracts that nobody is letting me speak about, so I'm going to try on here.
"We have signed for a 12-round fight, and they are trying to push it for a 10-rounder, doing everything that they can, and I'm not budging.
"I'm having a 12-round fight. I tried to do it on Gloves Are Off, and they wouldn't let me speak about it.
"And on Sky Sports, they didn't air my interview.
"This is the problem we are having. I signed a 12-round contract fight.
"When I was signing the contract, I thought 'He couldn't barely get through five rounds, this is weird'.
"So a couple of weeks went by, and they tried to send another contract for a 10-rounder.
"That shows the confidence levels, I'm ready for 15 rounds...
"It is signed for 12 rounds. There has been a mistake there.
"They thought they sent me a 10-round contract, but really it is a 12-rounder."
Cameron went on to claim that Whittaker has signed his side of the 12-round deal before revealing Warren's stance.
"He [Warren] is saying that we are not budging no matter what," Cameron added.
The two fighters came into the talkSPORT studio in February to preview their fight with tensions between them at a maximum.
The Briton was accused of 'quitting' the fight, having left the event in a wheelchair.
During their face-off, Whittaker explained why he didn't disclose the exact injuries that forced him to pull out of their first clash midway through.
He told talkSPORT: "Listen, that's just the way I am. I could have posted the X-ray but I didn't.
"It just isn't the person I am. At the end of the day nobody wants to hear it.

"People want to just see us run it back in a rematch, fair enough it happened it was very bizarre.
"The injury is very good now, I am in a great way and I'm now very happy to be fair."
