Whyte and Fury have gone back and forth over social media many times

There has been speculation that Fury really wants the undisputed title fight against Oleksandr Usyk and there was potential to ask Joshua to step aside from his rematch with the Ukranian.

Fury’s American promoter, Bob Arum, thinks it would be a grave mistake if Fury didn’t respect Whyte and he knows the Gypsy King will.

"Why wouldn't Fury respect Whyte? Heavyweights throw bombs,” Arum explained. “If he doesn't respect him, he'll be in a lot of trouble.
