Michael van Gerwen given immediate revenge opportunity as mouthwatering Premier League fixtures released
Michael van Gerwen faces Luke Littler in a mouthwatering clash on the opening night of the 2025 Premier League Darts.
Littler will arrive at the tournament in Belfast on February 6 as the reigning Premier League champion and world champion having triumphed at Alexandra Palace earlier this month.
'The Nuke' won 7-3 in the final against Van Gerwen, who can now claim revenge by disrupting his Premier League title defence.
Fixtures for this year's tournament were released on Wednesday have Littler vs Van Gerwen as the headliner match next month.
World no.1 Luke Humphries faces Nathan Aspinall, whilst Chris Dobey plays Gerwyn Price and Stephen Bunting meets Rob Cross on night one.
Price plays in front of a home crowd in Cardiff on night seven and Newcastle fan Dobey is set for support in the Tyne on night eight.

Littler will have the backing of Manchester on night ten ahead of Dutchman Van Gerwen taking to the stage in Rotterdam on night 11.
Liverpool will be supporting Bunting on the 12th night before Leeds fan Humphries takes to the oche in Yorkshire on night 14.
The line-up has seen notable omissions including Johnny Clayton, Damon Heta and Dave Chisnall, who are all in the top ten rankings.
Peter Wright and Michael Smith have also missed out this year, along with two-timer winner Gary Anderson.
As per the usual format, the victors of each match advance to the semi-finals and then final for a chance to win the night.
Each winner claims five points whilst a runners-up finish earns three and reaching the semi-finals rewards two.
After 16 nights of action across the UK and Europe, the top four will feature in the play-offs in the hopes of winning the grand prize.
These will take place at the O2 Arena in London on May 29, with the winner set for £275,000 in prize money.
