Jose Mourinho began his Manchester United career with a win as the Red Devils beat Wigan 2-0 in their first preseason friendly.

New signings Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan both started but other new arrival Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not yet linked up with his new club.

The goals both came in the second half from youngsters Will Keane and Andreas Pereira, who are both hoping to force their way into Mourinho’s plans this season.
