Kurt Zouma ‘should be sacked’ for sickening cat abuse video as ex-Liverpool and England goalkeeper Chris Kirkland says he would refuse to play with West Ham star

Kurt Zouma should be sacked by West Ham for physically abusing a cat, talkSPORT has been told.
The 27-year-old defender is under fire after a sickening video emerged of him kicking and slapping his pet, while laughter could be heard in the background.
The Met Police are not investigating the incident, but talkSPORT understands that Zouma will be facing a disciplinary hearing by West Ham.
All eyes will be on the Hammers and what punishment they hand out to their near £30million signing.
Former Liverpool and Wigan goalkeeper Chris Kirkland revealed he would not want to play with the defender if he was in the same team as him.
“I wouldn’t [want to play with him] if I was in that dressing room,” Kirkland told talkSPORT.
“If I was captain, I would get him out of that dressing room and wouldn’t want to play with him again. Definitely not.
“This is just about what’s right in humanity, even if you’re not an animal lover. Seeing that sickened me.
“I wouldn’t want to. I don’t think there’s any way back for.
“He’s obviously not going to play tonight, West Ham have been backed into a corner. It’s not their fault at all, but they’ve got to handle it.
“He’s got to be sacked.”
When asked if this was the end of his playing career in this country, Kirkland said: “I would imagine so, yes.
“It is an extremely tough one as I’m an advocate of mental health. I think if you are putting stuff online like that, I know it was his brother, but you don’t care. You are doing it to show off.
“They were laughing and he’s got a kid there. You can only imagine what goes on in that house.
“If they’ve put it on once, then it’s going to happen again. You see the cat run off scared to death.
“If that was in the street what would happen? He’d get arrested and would be put behind bars.”
Zouma released a statement saying he was ‘deeply sorry’ for his actions, while West Ham have condemned the defender.
Kirkland added: “He’s not going to come out and say ‘I had a great time, it was brilliant. I’ve done it before and will do it again’. He’s not going to say that.
“Of course he’s going to come out full of remorse. It doesn’t make any difference.
“It’s the same as the case in Scotland with [David] Goodwillie, the club backtracked. No club can sign him now because of the backlash they will get.
“The fans will turn on the club and no one can sign him now. He’s only got himself to blame.”
