‘One of the best ever Rangers performances in Europe’ – Ally McCoist revels in Europa League heroics at Borussia Dortmund and jokes Celtic will get knocked down to Eurovision Song Contest after Europa Conference League woes
Ally McCoist was revelling in Rangers' Europa League win at Borussia Dortmund on Thursday night, claiming it's up there with one of the club's best ever European performances.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men claimed a stunning result in the first leg of the last-32 tie as they ran out 4-2 winners in Germany.

Dortmund were without the likes of Erling Haaland, while talkSPORT Breakfast host Alan Brazil - a lifelong Celtic fan - made reference to there being sickness within Marco Rose's squad.
A gloating Ally responded: "There was after the game, I know that! What a performance!
"In all seriousness, we had a wee prediction before the game and I said I'd bite your hand off for a draw.
"I know they're missing the big fella [Haaland] up front and the tie's not over but, I tell you what, what a performance and result that is.
"And do you know what's beautiful? Every time the ball hit the back of that net I was thinking of Brazil!
Ally added: "It's up there with the best ever Rangers performances in Europe."

In contrast, Rangers' Glasgow rivals Celtic had a dreadful night in the Europa Conference League as they suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt.
Keen to deflect, Alan showed off a pennant from Celtic's win over Inter Milan in the 1967 European Cup final.
Ally wouldn't let him get away so easily, firing back: "That's good, you can stick it up with the one I've got you, Celtic vs Bodo/Glimt from last night!
"I don't think they're out of the tie but Ray [Parlour] can you see if they get knocked out if that puts them into the Eurovision song contest?!
"I'm reliably informed Bodo/Glimt are worth 18 points on Scrabble!"
