Juventus reportedly make contact with Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola over a potential move for the Manchester United star

Paul Pogba could be back in the black and white stripes of Juventus again who reportedly made contact with his agent, Mino Raiola.

The Manchester United star could be leaving the club for free at the end of the summer as he is out of contract.

A world record signing at the time from Juve, the Frenchman's £89million move in 2016 hasn't exactly gone as well as many hoped.

While there is no questioning his talent, Pogba has been unable to fulfil his career at Old Trafford due to injuries and poor form.

Given that he is still only 28-year-old, the World Cup winning midfielder still has a lot to offer, and has plenty of suitors vying for his services for next season.

One of those clubs could be a former one, as Juve have opened talks with Raiola over a return, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian giants are said to have offered a contract that would see him earn £6.2m a year.

For now though, he is still a Red Devils player, and has a big role to play in ensuring the club are in the Champions League next season.

That task though is no easy feat, especially with recent rumours of a rift in the squad between Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford.

Speaking ahead of the Manchester derby though, Pogba insisted those reports were not true, and instead said the atmosphere around the club is excellent.

"Of course [togetherness strong enough to beat Man City]. We have personalities, big dressing room, good atmosphere to be in," he said to Sky Sports.

"The atmosphere has been great, very good atmosphere, in training, you can feel it, it's competitive, all enjoy the training session so the atmosphere is good."
